About Karya

Karya pairs two missions that most of the AI industry treats as separate. On one side, it builds high-quality, vernacular AI datasets that large language models, speech systems and translation engines simply cannot get from the open web. On the other, it routes dignified, well-paid digital work to women and rural communities who would otherwise have no path into the data economy. The result is a virtuous loop — better data for AI customers, fairer wages and skilled work for contributors, and a model that has demonstrated commercial AI buyers will pay a premium for the difference.
