Greenpod Labs designs small plant-based sachets that release natural volatile compounds, slowing ripening and microbial growth in fresh produce — without needing cold storage or chemical preservatives. For farmers, traders and food processors in a country where post-harvest losses are routinely 20–40%, the intervention is high-leverage and low-cost. The technology is deployable inside existing supply chains and tuned crop-by-crop, with growing pilots across mangoes, chillies, tomatoes and other high-loss commodities.
